Made Hand

The made hand is the poker hand that doesn’t need any extra card to improve its quality, including straight, flush, full house, or another hand that isn’t a draw.

Made Hand Understanding

In poker, a made hand is a hand that already has enough cards and will not get any better with more cards. The different kinds of made hand, in order of increasing rank, are pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, and straight flush.

Examples of Made Hand

If one is dealt two queens and the flop comes with a queen, king, and ace, then the player has made a set of queens, hence a made hand. In another case, if a player is dealt a ten and jack and the flop comes with a queen, king, and ace, such a player will have attained a straight, hence a made hand.
